The third largest hotel chain in the UK.
As lead designer on Travelodge for around 8 years I helped to make them the most visited hotel brand website in the UK with 8,000,000 visits per month.
My focus was front-end design and user experience, concentrating on making the search and book process and quick and easy as possible. During my time we raised online bookings from 7% to 90% of all bookings, increased visitors-to-bookings conversion from 2% to 11% and reduced ‘time to book’ by 50% in 3 years, winning multiple awards along the way.
I also devised the innovative saver grid as a tool for easily finding sale rooms – an industry first.
